Violence should really be a final option. Glorifying the desperation move will ultimately give this lifestyle choice and ideology a bad name. Remember, an ounce of prevention or common sense is worth several pounds of cellophane and a hacksaw.

It simply is not worth it.

Violence being a "final option" will do nothing to stop its glorification if said option is chosen. If you truly believe that the glorification of violence in these situations is bad, you'd advocate for the REMOVAL of the option from the table. I'm looking forward to your content.

@BloodyCaligula: the option cannot be removed. A cornered animal will fight out of desperation. Aggression is part of our biology. However, we must ‘ observe the landscape’. Glorifying this will allow the lunatic fringe enough mental ammunition to say we are a dangerous group. We literally will play into their hands. Now we know this is projection on their part, but they currently have the advantage of the landscape. We have to acknowledge this, lest we be driven underground.

Lol, I hear you. For example, RPM always gives 5 points for firearm kills because it's so common in the U.S. but, personally, if some shmoe picked his significant other off at 1,000 meters with a PSG-1 as she sipped her overpriced Starbucks latte, I'd give the guy a solid 10. But hey, different strokes for different folks, methinks.
