Some idiot tried putting one of those in a local creek. Apparently they don't like cold water, same with piranha. Only fish tank specie's that have survived is goldfish.

Hopefully they taste better than carp. According to Europeans and asians carp taste good. Everyone I know who has tried say's otherwise. I'd rather eat northern pike.

@Councilof1: There is a whole heap of smarts - that I have found and posted here a long time ago, on all the ways and means that other people use, to clean them up and make them taste good. I personally regard carp as floating shit sandwiches...

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: I admit the dog treats are a good idea. Like how the Americans are turning invasive silver carp into dog food.

@Councilof1: This site needs a library of congress type of search program, the ways and means of a number of people on how to prepare carp - from china, europe and Australia etc., and their different and similar methods, is pretty impressive and they say, you can get good bone free meat out of them... techniques on removing the bits that make them taste like shit and how to fillet out and or extract all the hundreds of tiny hard bones through out all of the flesh... Look it up in y video list.... video + comments

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: I'm sure there's great ways to prepare them. Just not for me. I can think of a couple dozen specie's of fish I'd rather eat.

Yep - and it's an interesting thing when people get away from assumptions, gossip and hearsay..... The fish ARE edible and they just look like shit..
