How a bowl of water CAN save you fuel! ???

This may interest you petrol head's and money savers. Hypermiling. what is hypermiling? It'swhen you drive in a none bellend way and use gears and speed alone to save petrolo. Note I didn't say braking, because braking will disipate any advantage i9n speed as you loose the advantage as wasted effort and energy. I have two motorcycles. A Royal En field Meteo 350 Stella and a Keyway Chinky mini Harley looky like, looks a litle like a baby Road King. Any ways for the last 6 weeks or so I've been practicing this "Hyper miling" on both bikes. The results have been absolutely staggering in savings both in fue and expense. The Meteor is a single and will thump along at 20 MPH or 65 MPH almost on tickover. Also both bikes are fuel injected, and unlike Carb's Injector's don't Vapor lock in hot weather. Also Injector's when you shut the throttle closes the injector and fuel use completely, un like Carb's that rely on a constant vacuum which is why they vaporlock so shut of the injector on a hill and let the bike (or car) use it's own momentum to roll down hill. you can do this IN GEAR not Freewheeling and your fuel wont be wasted. some vehicles rely on the engine anyway for power steering and othe rfunctions. I am slso working on using a compluter fan a way of keeping air cool at the air filter. Ever noticed how when it is cold or damp your engine has suddenly got more power? That is temporature related due to the air being colder in the ambent state. Anyway Huyper miling is giving me and extra 120 miles per 3'2 gallon take full. RE say around a hundred MPG, I'm getting using Hypermiling 137 MPG using the basis or riding just above tich over or 3000 Rev's. by the way not to annoy anyone the women mentioned in this article didn't invent Hypermiling, Hypermiling has been round decades but now is the right time to stop being a lead foot and get into it big time.
