Modern cars (and car makers), like many modern women, are overly sensitive, and are just out to get the bag. JMO.

I like everything, modern cars are very clever, and the mass production techniques used to build them, very easy to assemble - BUT unless you do it a real lot, or work on the production line, they can be an absolute guessing game to get apart.
This is why I favour very old vehicles.
I mean points and coil ignition systems, with a simple mechanical thermostat, in the cooling system, they worked just fine, on billions of engines for decades.
Now they have sensors all over everything, and it all is run by a computer.
And the engine bays are FULL of parts, and except for air conditioning, the modern car is an abortion.
