One of the most common things I see amongst the subscribers of this channel is the number of good, caring people who feel some kind of inexplicable guilt in their relationships with their parents.

There are hundreds of causes for this guilt, mostly driven by the parents itself. In fact, guilty is one of the most common emotions experienced by sons in relation to their parents.

More than normal parents do, narcissist parents will make their child feel guilty about anything. Making a sound while walking, while eating. Eating too much, too little, too loudly. Even the things you eat. Touching basically anything (like a plate, phone, door). Even the sound of breathing is too much.

Basically, they make you feel like you should feel guilty for existing. As if you are always too much. As if you take up too much space.
