Huge water fights in Thailand as Buddhist New Year celebrations resume

Super Soakers at the ready! Revelers in Bangkok have been celebrating Songkran - a three-day holiday marking Buddhist New Year - making sure they stay properly hydrated while doing so. Water guns, hoses and buckets were the weapons of choice for the annual water fight, making a welcome return after the pandemic.
