Their divorce and fertility rates are even worse than the United States so no. I doubt men have much power unless they are a Russian elite like Putin who can skirt rules. If men had control over their families and patriarchy reigned, you'd see less divorce rates and higher fertility in Russia which is not the case.

@Mrod: Weird I expected the opposite. I guess most Russian women are online selling sex stuff. Being the highest amount of Caucasian women who are not fat. @Toki: By the way they are portrayed or even the way Putin portrays Russia in his speeches I would assume them to be more traditional where average men are in charge of their families with women devoted to them but that is simply not the case. Statistically that is simply not the case. I actually wish it was the case as the more countries that are pro patriarchy, pro father and family values the better. I will say their women are hotter and in better shape than your average hog here in the United States so there is that.
