Kosovo is an "interzone" - demi-recognized and politically charged, with the threat of violent conflict with Serbia still looming. Albania and Montenegro are in NATO but I expect Albania to be less globohomo'd than Montenegro due to its fairly poor attraction of tourists, unlike the seaside Montenegro. Greece is overpriced and full-on clown world. Turkey is a mix. It's outside the EU but full of obedient simps who follow the government's every whim, including scam-a-rona restrictions. Northern Cyprus (Turkish Cyprus) is still promising - non-recognized, full of expats, non-UN, non-EU, non-NATO. Not sure if their corona laws are the same as in Turkey. Another promising land - Georgia. Georgia is Orthodox Christian, very hostile to globohomo and has good infrastructure.
