Thanks MHD, for confirming my suspicions about this movie. Back in the '60s as a young boy (7), my mother wanted to take 3 of my siblings and myself to the theater to see the re-released (1966) Disney movie: Bambi. My father on the other hand, was going fishing, so I asked to go with him instead. My mother gave me a hard time, but I persisted, and my father let me go with him. As I grew up, my mother would always remind me (not always in an edifying way) of how much I was like him, philosophically or otherwise. Ironically they've been divorced since '75, and he's been dead since 2000, but she still can't seem to get him out of her head. LMAO!
