its a tiny version of the hadron collider...
the hadron collider has been in operation for over 10 years and learned shit...
researching similar properties, or using them to 'smash atoms' in order to try to see what atoms are made of....
the most productive research into this has been to use electromagnetic to create and start a fission engine, which is as close as anyone has gotten to recreating the power of the sun...
the only way currently to even consider recreating that energy is using electromagnetic coil to get particles to travel fast enough to create photons or photon energy...

If this can be made practical and economical, The UK once again will probably kickstart another industrial revolution. But of course, other countries too will have the technology.
