Is Geothermal Heating and Cooling Worth the Cost? Heat Pumps Explained

i actually asked him about this, and he roughly pays 2 grand a month as is already. the mp3 might help in some regards to save on bandwidth usage, and he already restricts free accounts to only show 480p at most, but not all videos are 480p to begin with so he saves there, however he has been making most of his money back through the live stream super chats and boosting of videos on the front page, but he also still has to work on the side to supplement for other expenses of his own. i'm hoping big other creators will come here and use this site so that it drives sponsors here more often, however i do think he needs to lower the price for adverts just so sponsors will be enticed enough to list their stuff here in the first place. it has to be worth it for the advertiser, and another thing he's been making some money off of these damn spam accounts, because when they come here and post their spam which they aren't allowed to do because it's spam they have to pay for their membership to be able to get passed the 72 hour wait from a free account just to post stuff. lol it was an idea i had that i'm glad amr implemented, it won't stop them, but it has helped slow them down and will at least take something from them when they try such shit on the site and they eventually get deleted anyway because again, no spaming allowed, and spam isn't free speech. but yeah the boosting of videos helps and the super chats helps.

i understand the mp3 will not be used for videos that have an visual element in them, but if it's music or a podcast which is the majority of mgtow videos, it could help keep costs down. we just need more folks onboard, i understand that for some $5 or $10 or even $20 can be a bit high for some, but if they are already a big content provider and do regular live streams and ppl donate to them a lot, it will dramatically help the site and the creator will make their money back with only a few donations within their live streams. but i understand why ppl haven't left youtube, youtube is free and they get ad revenue, the only thing this site has going for it is our free speech in comparison to youtube and other big tech platforms. and big tech are in an constant encroachment of banning ppl for saying the wrong things or supporting the wrong ppl or saying things they don't like. and some of these ppl will naturally be purged, but they are trying to keep their status as well as youtube is where most of the views come from which is why it's an imperative for folks to tell their viewers to follow them on to these other platforms as much as possible because unfortunately ppl are lazy and won't make the move unless that person is banned completely. but we have some bad luck with alt tech through out the years with them shutting down due to stupid reasons or servers being pulled and shit like that, and we have been DDOS attacked multiple times and that's a pain in of itself but we got to keep trying to get passed these issues if we want to keep our platforms, we got to fight for them.

@KEEPER: I agree even if you pay 10 a month like some of us do its another bill. Economy right now is in the toilet but you see people spending 4 to 7 dollars for a cup of crap at star buckies. I wish he had a po box i would drop him a check every month.

@SQUEAK077: i wish he would try to be open to other forms of payment, like don't get me wrong, paypal is ok and all, but at some point even they will take him and his business off the map and i think he needs an alternative money maker to fall back on when that happens, ppl have been trying including me to get him to get into crypto, but he's not budging on that idea and he will be struggling when that happens, so i hope he has some kind of backup plan in that case, but it would be proffered if he set that up now instead of later, just like the idea behind the Texas story, you gotta have backups just incase. the foundation needs to be there if he ever hopes to continue this idea of his, because if he doesn't, than all this will be lost in a blink of an eye.

maybe it just takes a bunch of ppl demanding that form of payment to make it worth it for him, idk i'm just spit balling here.

@SQUEAK077: he still needs to be competitive though, when he first set this site up, he thought he needed to be as open and free as youtube, but i knew this would bite him in the ass the more popularity the site became, and i knew he needed a system set in place that would make him money, a few other men and i basically had to tell him to make money off of the format, because we understood that nothing lasts forever, he eventually turned around his mentality on this idea when we went through a few DDOS attacks and covid hit with all the lockdowns and such. i'm just glad he took our advice as it's allowed him to further make improvements on the platform since then, we understand he's just one dude running this show, but as i already talked about sponsors and creators doing some migrating here, that's what we are holding out for because that's when this site will make the real cash and he can actually hire ppl to build on the infrastructure and make this a badass platform, but in some cases i understand that if you get too much growth in to short of a time it could also cripple the site, so that's why we need him to build the infrastructure that will support it first. i believe he should cater to other groups within another site and use the money he makes off of them to fund his platform further down the road so he's not treading water all the time. it's just hard to convince him of this idea as he's kind of a proud man from what i have learned, he's a good guy, but he sometimes lacks direction which is why i have given him so many ideas and help him out for free when i can.
