Is it harder to be a man or a woman?

Reminds me of the ancient Greek mythology story of the Blind Prophet, Tiresias. Tiresias had been both a man and a woman. He was born a male but, due to a curse by the goddess Hera for killing a pair of snakes on Mount Cyllene, he was turned into a woman. Eventually, the curse was lifted and he became a man again.

One day, Zeus and Hera were arguing over whether man or woman struggled the most in life. Zeus said the man struggled and Hera said the woman had a harder life. They asked Tiresias to answer the question, since he had been both a man, then woman, then back to man again. Tiresias said that the man suffered more in life than the woman.

Hera was angry and cursed him to being blind. Zeus made it up to him by gifting him with the ability to see into the future.
