It's Impossible To Know When You Are IGNORANT... So ASSUME You Are

Nothing is certain in life.

As much as we think we know how the world works, as much as we think we know about reality, it is all just an illusion—an approximation of the truth.

This is a difficult concept for many people to grasp. We want certainty in our lives. We want to believe that we know the truth. We want to have strong opinions, we want to be able to hold absolute beliefs.

But, the truth is that we don't know what we don't know.

Ignorance, by it's very definition is undetectable.

You can not know when you are ignorant, therefore you must always assume you are ignorant.

Instead of holding firm beliefs, it's better to look at things in terms of probabilities.

We can't be certain of anything, but we can have high enough of degrees of confidence in the truth of a thing that we can take action.

Close-minded people are not people who are not open to new ideas, they are people who cling tightly to their own ideas.

Try to have as few beliefs are possible, because beliefs, once held, are difficult to put down.

So... Since it is IMPOSSIBLE to know if you're ignorant... Just assume you are.
