Joe Cocker - Mamy Blue

I am not sure - I think the group "Top Pops" originally produced it, and Hulio Iglacias did a watery version, and so many others made their versions as well... Joe Cocker's version was well and it wasn't "soft and almost hummed"...

I'd like to produce this song with him, and introduce a lot more punch into it - with his voice a lot more prominent - it's good now... in fact it's excellent... "Should I fuck with this or leave it alone?" - I'd like to fuck with it so get his voice 10 - 30 % more volume in parts..

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: Give it a go. ...and, yep. This tune has been covered well and good. Originally french, but was a big hit in every language it was translated to. There were times when two versions were on the same chart. I've got Joe's studio discography, a Live or two and maybe one compilation. Don't have this tune.

@Drums_McBashington: There is I'd like too, and then there is getting copies of the original recordings.... and then doing it..... A passing interest, tends to get hard, when there are lots of interests and not much spare time and much higher priorities...

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: Also yep. I did a quick search, looking for the track. The french page mentions Cocker, the english doesn't. Couldn't find any info on when he did it, or where it was released. Wasn't listed as a single, might have been a B side, but they usually mention non-album tracks. Apparently, he just did it, and that's all we need to know.
