@SoloMan Zone: The RT did a short story on these being anti-tank magnetic mines - like if the tank does not have to run over it, it just has to get close enough to magnetically fire it..... Not sure of the exact specs - but assuming that the tank gets to within a meter or so, of it, then it detonates, well that MIGHT destroy the tank if the mine goes off underneath it, but if it went off to the side, then blasting up the track will stop the tank...
