Latvia demolishes Soviet WWII memorial
Riga has removed a prominent Liberators of Latvia monument depicting three Soviet soldiers. This monument was put up to remember the people who fought in the great patriotic war, and not the ideologies of the sides in the war.
This is a shame that such wonderful monuments were destroyed - and for what? To disrespect the millions who died?
