Malians back transfer of military jets to Niger in support of coup govt

After the ECOWAS group of West African states said it was drawing up a military plan against Niger, neighboring Mali and Burkina Faso warned that any such action would amount to a declaration of war against them as well. <br> <br>The two states also sent military aircraft to help Niger in the event of hostilities.
