IT LOOKED TO ME THAT ...
the guy near her was totally absorbed with his music, maybe with earbuds, and simply did not hear her cries for help.

In regards to the woman with weights, isn't it bad sportsmanship or form to not have a spotter? Once again, it's a woman to blame. At least another right fit ass spandex woman helped her out.

Though a spotter can be helpful, it's not required. It does help to start light, then work your way to heavier sets. Her outfit gave me the impression she bit off more than she could chew. I've trained with Step Aerobics instructors who didn't dress that provocatively.

@sauger1001: In checking proper form, a mirror is more helpful imo, than a spotter.

@sauger1001: I thought the spotter was for safety so you didn't injure or kill yourself!?

@WMHarrison94: In certain situations, sure, but the vast majority of lifters don't use spotters, yet I can still work a set to failure, take a rest, then do another set. For me, the key is working smart, but starting very light; usually half of my perceived limit. I could be wrong, but I believe that woman was inexperienced. I believe she deliberately put herself in that position, camera included. Why? Who knows. I was in her position many years ago, when I was inexperienced. Hopefully she learned her lesson, as I did.

I should say "... RARELY use spotters..."

Honestly, if I were to help her, it would be from the front not from behind. She'd probably get a dopamine rush from brushing up against me and then call me a creeper. I Would stand in front of her and lift her bar and walk backwards as she stepped forward preventing most contact. Then, I might joke about her trying to cop a feel or rub one against me as I am walking away. mentioning how I am a philosophical monk...
