This really gave me that prideful feeling: to be a fellow man that is capable of things and feats that females could not even DREAM of doing! Rebounding from a tragic, temporarily crippling accident is something that he and I have in common.
Recovering and bouncing back gives one a sense of pride, accomplishment, and extreme self-assurance/ self-confidence.
Most women seem to be, no matter what, perpetually insecure, feeling worthless, and full of envy/spite toward everything better than them.
