Why would she meet Jeffrey? Why would she think he was evil personified unless she knew about him? Why would she have nightmares after just one meeting if Jeffrey would have presumably been on his best behavior? She certainly would't have been his type. She wasn't anyone's type which is why she married Bill and had to have nerd sex.
