Back when I was pretending to be a Mormon to be with this one chick, I noticed how short men got disrespected as well. I was a high tier "normie" back in my 30's.
The BISHOP of the Stake, aka church, was a short man. He was well respected by the other men, had great lecturing skill, and a successful businessman. OTOH, his WIFE clearly didn't respect him as she was easily a head taller than him. All of his status meant nothing. While other wives dressed to look good for their husbands and make them look good in return, the Bishop's wife would wear some dumpy house dress and flip flops to church. Her hair and makeup came off as an afterthought. Her body language didn't show any special concern for him. He didn't deserve that.
There is a reason why the Face, Looks, Money, and Status measures are in that particular order. Status only works if the first three are in good order.
