How come your not sleeping in your truck? And a small portable gas stove and some fresh or frozen vegetables and meat = instant chinese soups and foods.... Look up my videos on cooking. $30 and a cooler box and I have enough hot fresh food for 3 days... $25 only gets you ONE crappy meal of sugary shit from McDonalds.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: I transport commercial and non commercial vehicles. I sleep in the vehicles when feasible, but carrying various accessories for cooking or refrigerating food isn't possible, since I never have the same vehicle twice. Once it's delivered to the customer, I'm off to the next gig, or home.

I pack clothing for 4 days, plus what I'm wearing. Of course in winter I pack extra, thicker clothing, heavier jacket, gloves, etc. I also travel light bc I walk a lot, since getting to the gym isn't an everyday occurrence. Walked a combined 4.75 miles a couple of days ago, with my 40lbs of gear, bc I was too cheap to ride the bus for 2-3 miles. Pretty decent workout, hey? Lol.

Like a localish garage / truck stop - $16 for a really good fresh hot hamburger with the lot + large cuppachino (frothy coffee) $23..... Getting one of those every 2 weeks, prior to a big trip x 1 year (or 26 times) that is $600 - and $600 is full set of new tyres for the car or 300 liters of fuel = 2600 Km of travelling. @sauger1001: A lot of people do a big heap of cooking and then deep freeze it in plastic containers and just take it with them when they go places... I don't know how much a decent chinese meal is worth but if I can buy say $50 of ingredients, for travelling for a few days, that gives me 2 or 3 really decent meals a day for 3 days... A couple of kilos of greenish banans and or green pears... a sealable food storage bag with coffee / tea / powdered milk and sugar... A decent coffee is lke $5 or more I can make them for 30c each... 10 coffees a trip is either $50 or $3... It all adds up...
