He makes more money than you right now and you’re a grad student if he loved you and was an alpha male he’d let you live with him rent free until you’re done with school...he’d do whatever it takes to support you if he can...money is the dumbest thing to fight over but everyone does. My girlfriend (now wife and mother of my baby) moved in rent free with me after 3 months as i insisted because her finances were fucked and she was a broke resident. I fell hard head over heals for her and knew I was gonna marry her from the first date, I got really lucky, she could do way better than me. Point is you’re not the asshole, he is and it sounds like he wants to live beyond his means and is calling you out because the beta can’t get his way. You did everything right in my opinion. I’d ditch him and go find yourself a strong real alpha male. No idea what a finesse is, ha."
