I kind of envy you Father my friend. as you mentioned what he did and how he lived a little flutter of excitement welled up in my chest. I got kicked out of home at 16 and for a while lived in a bus shelter then i found a derelict shed i lived in comfortably for some 4 month's. hear i am nearly 65 and still healthy well and very much wise to this world. I guess life has never been to good to me but boy have I learned a lot that is giving my twilight years some heavy boost's of happiness and joy and well deserved solitude..

My life is run by ME on the basis of less is more. I recycle stuff out of dumpsters or skips as we call them in the UK. I'm a Jack of all Trades but master of only a couple. All my Whiter good's like the vacuum cleaner, my washer and Microwave are out of dumpsters and I fixed them. As a MAN I have the ability to fix shit for my own purpose or re-purpose, this very PC is a rebuilt junker made from bits and bob's but it does for what i need. Being a re-purposer or fixer upper, I save masses of money for good stuff like a new motorcycle I paid cash for last May. the truth is people today throw stuff out because it is the wrong color or a new version has come along and it is out dated. Much of what I salvage these day's I don't have to do anything to other than wipe a cloth over them. i have an incredible skill set now, just what every wife 50 years ago would dream of, BUT i use them for purely my own benefit these day's!

I am happy I have a roof and food where I rule me. Wanting more than you need is a recipe for misery. Ever hungry for what one doesn't have always wanting what is out of reach. Just enjoy life and what you have be happy.
