John, it can not be beaten. The notion of female hypergamy is real. However, I disagree with Tomasi and others as to its origin. I do not see it as Darwinian. I looked at the Book of Genesis an realized that a Garden-of-Eden wasn't enough to satiate a female. They will always want more, and, just like Adam, the man will be led to share in the consequence....if not shoulder ALL the consequences arising from her thirst for, "MORE".
