In Canada there was a famous case of Karla Holmolka and Paul Bernardo. Paul was moderately handsome, and he drove around in a fancy sports car, asking young women if they wanted a ride home. Eventually he snagged a few, and took them home where they were brutally assaulted. After being caught the heavy hand of the law saw Paul as the worst of the two, Karla claimed she was just along for the ride. A plea bargain struck put Paul in Jail for a very long time where he is still today. Karla got a much lighter sentence, but later video evidence revealed that of the two killers Karla was by far the worst of the two. Today she is free, has kids, a family, and a new name. They are a prime example of what you talk about in this video.
