They only focus on promotions and doesn't even care about the life of their men. They like to get cozy with the ruling class in hope for some positions and monetary gains. They manage the military like some company while spending on taxpayers money. Eventually they share similar mentality. Gender/racial equality starts to creep in. The already woke government will offer more funding for those who promotes diversity. If 1 women gets promoted, the military will get 1 point. If 1 colored woman gets promoted, that will be 2 points. A lot of woke generals were appointed during Obama presidency. This trend will become a more common sight.
