A easy one . Leave the bitch there you can live for a week with just water . Take the walk Double time 2 days 20-25 mi a day in the snow . It's slow going but you have to keep your blood flowing faster to keep from freezing . ( To hard to make and keep a fire in the Mountains ) . 2 or 3 Days latter you make it or you don't ... That's your best Shot .

ever notice a man's hair falls in the third quarter of his life and turns white in the fourth quarter? just like the seasons.. but the man's life cycle is 80 years not ONE.
I wonder how natural selection reconciles this..

You can make an igloo with large snowballs.. I would probly just make a wall that way in the remains of the fuselage to create a small insulated cell where I would hole up with the woman.. wait for rescue..

Walk down hill, real simple. Get below the snow and if the bitch doesn't want to get out then tough for her.

@SoloManZone: How do you get without walking? Walk down hill, everytime we have idots lost in the mountains here they can't seem to remember there are cities and roads surrounding them.

I think I would consolidate my position. There might be some other supplies I can scavenge from the plane. Probably start stacking snow up into a large pile, and compact it down on the surface as much as possible. If I could find some matches, some sort of knife, take advantage of any broken or old deadfall trees to start a fire. Melt some snow and pour it on the snow mound.. to form an ice layer... then start digging out a shelter underneath. I would try to salvage any clothing from the bodies of the dead, and look through the luggage I can find for useful items and extra clothing.. sweaters jackets..etc. If there is any first aid supplies or possibly a flare kit I may try to muster that up as well for future use. It might be possible to set some makeshift traps for birds or animals that will surely be attracted to the dead bodies... maybe some birds or rodents could fall prey to a trap or two... Make some bird soup... Once the snowstorm died down, I would probably go over the wreckage one last time... assess what I've salvaged... use a few suitcases to store the items... make some sort of makshift sled and hopefully find some cord to fasten to it... then abandon the shelter for the last time. Heading towards the last known farmhouse... If the woman is too weak to move I'd probably either toss her on the sled or leave her behind at the shelter with a promise to return with a rescue party... and off I would go.

Would female play any major part in your plans?

@SoloManZone: Unfortunately not so much because she is a woman, but more because she is a human. Regardless of whom survived, I would try to perform whatever first aid and care I could reasonably. I might triage the group and focus my efforts on those who could benefit most from help. No point in putting a small bandaid on a huge arterial bleed right? But yeah I would try to get the survivors help. Probably in my past I might have been inclined to rescue and give a woman priority status for help, but these days I wouldn't do that. I would try to save as many people as I could reasonably.

@SoloManZone: If I couldn't move her efficiently I would simply shelter her in place and move to seek help at the Farm House. But only if I was 100% certain that I knew where to go. If I left the scene and got lost alone in the woods, I might never be found. It would be better to stay at the crash site and signal for help form there. I would expect someone would be searching for the downed plane.
