I am still quite thrilled at how hard running these big guns are - in terms of breech pressure and report - while they have a HUGE calibre, compared to a rifle, the corresponding harmonic is not proportionally lower - in the sense of resonance - like an organ pipe, it's sort of on par with a high powered rifle.
