Yeah in 2009 when most of Australia was on fire.....
Yeah really.
The day of the sort of worst of it, it was 53*C in the shade and the wind speed on the ground was 120 Kmh ALL day.....
Fuck me.... I mean if you live in really hot places - it's not so bad...
But that sort of deep fried standing up in it.
The metal door handles were too hot to touch... everything was sizzling and all you could do was lay in bed, with a big jug of water and pray to fucking god that a fire didn't break out upwind of you somewhere in the not too distant areas.....
5 hours of wind = 600 Km of distance travelled... and there was no where to escape too... except mow your grass to the dirt, set up hoses, buckets and tubs filled with water.... Everything is turned on and ready to go....
And when that guy in the video is saying he can't tell you what 51*C is like, except it's like the wind is on fire......
He is NOT joking...

Want to hear a crazy story look up The Death Valley German's. It's sad a German family of tourists drove into Death Valley and it ended badly.
