Eggy bro delayed gratification is good for things like a craft you are learning.
For example to be a good cook, you need to put your energy for several months, years into learning the skills to become a good cook.
Instant gratification is good for basic things like eating , sports , something immediate.
To accumulate money you need to put effort and not waste it immediately by saving it over a long period of time.
Instant gratification I think is just for basic things, I put sex with women on the same thing as that of course.
Everything complex requires the ability to delay satisfaction, so energy has to be expanded and used in order to produce more energy with your learned craft, acquired machine , etc...
Ultimately the difference between those who succeed and don't succeed is the ability to control our basic impulses and to use our energy to obtain more in return.

I think you might be missing my point. And i have several crafts. What im actually saying here is deep. The ultimate question you need to ask yourself is 'What does a return on investment look like to you?" Taking a risk is ENERGY. How much is your ENERGY worth to you. Bill gates energy is soo expensive, if he were to find 300 dollars on the ground, its not even energetically worth it for him to pick it up. lol

@Eggy_Noggy: of course if you have high skills and high value as an individual, everything you do and every energy you consume has to have value immediately.

Your video intro reminds of the video games Silent Hill with the black end white background.

Thanks! Silent Hill was a great series! I did the opening using analog 3m projectors for the layers. This gives it a darker feeling than just digital manipulation.

LOL, I found myself singing the "Hermetic crucible" song while working in the yard today. Also never risk more than you are willing to lose.

HHAHHA Yes! It is catchy! I recorded so many variations on that theme song its not even funny anymore! And yes, never risk more than your willing to lose. But when you look at risk as 'actual energy' with infinite value, it makes youre-think the whole risk idea even when you know the reward is attainable. (Mind blown)
