The proper role of the "public" sector was very well established during the New Deal Era in the U.S. The kernel being to foster public trust and establish fiduciary responsibility to the taxpayers. It only fills in where market failure takes place and the social fabric shows a need for that function.
The proper role of the public sector was perverted by the Civil Rights Mafia, which put the government in a malignant role instead of promoting trust in our INSTITUTIONS. Not to meddle between private parties. The fiduciary responsibility aspect was lost thanks to (((Reaganomics))) and the perverse introduction of public-private partnerships.
Gun laws are Exhibit "A" of civil rights meddling where pro-gun and anti-gun groups are fighting with each other because the Feds are working both sides. That, BTW, is a very JEWISH method of keeping the Sheeple agitated.
