Niger evacuees return to Europe

The first Europeans to be evacuated from Niger have landed in Paris, and have been speaking about their experiences during the coup. A military junta seized power in Niamey recently, ousting former President Mohamed Bazoum and sparking a mixed response from the country’s neighbors, and condemnation in the West. <br> <br>Tensions, however, remain high.
