I think the example in the picture was spot on with the point. But I'm not convinced about the ex gf. I would say that anger can be a positive emotion to get us out of bad situations. Your anger drove you to give her what she deserved for pushing your buttons. That's not analogous to having a good time while people are in concentration camps.

Jeese bro. It must be nice to live such an easy life. I know how I will act because I already survive very challenging situations, now not the Germans literally manning the ovens, but I have been to multiple wars and struggled between life and death on more than one occasion...
