Only for the summer? I'm a noob, but I'll learn. My... "girl", just gave a potato today, I'll cut it in half and plant it, hopefully in a few months I'll have more potatoes. I know potatoes are planted after the summer, but I'm not a farmer so I'll do it now.

My dog yesterday almost destroyed my carrots. Fucking dog jumping the wall instead of the gate as I told him to. If I want to leave them there, I'll need a net around me vegetables

@The Man Inside: That's a good idea, a fence or net will keep an assortment of creatures out of your garden!

@bigintol03: oh no. I'll get a wooden fence up, for two legged creatures, and a net around the vegetables so the dogs don't step over it. They were on the back digging a hole, been at that since at least last week, they'll do the same on the other side if I just leave them there.
