If you time keep this, and at exactly 48 seconds, they fire the gun, but what impresses me, is that artillery (big guns) have been running big loads and running them very hard for a long time.... This is nothing new.

But perhaps the quality of the video (filming) and the audio recording set ups, has also greatly improved - as the audio is not blowing out, from the guns report...

But the modern artillery piece is firing every bit as hard as a high pressure - hard running rifle.

And despite the acoustic issues and harmonics of a large pipe (the 200mm barrel), vs. a tiny hole in a tube (~7mm), it's not a "Boom" - it's a giant "Crack" - just like a giant marksman's long range rifle.

I think you could just bolt on a telescopic sight and start shooting at things..... in the almost horizontal.
