Oldest Palestinian prisoner freed after 17 years

Fouad Al-Shobaki, the oldest Palestinian prisoner in Israeli detention, has been released after 17 years in jail. The 83-year-old was released on Monday, having been detained in 2006 after being accused of weapons smuggling into Gaza. <br> <br>Al-Shobaki remained defiant as he addressed crowds in Ramallah upon his release. ‘We have done our duty and we will remain in struggle.
