My Darling Father was always clever.... When I would sit next to the gas heater in my shorts in the middle of winter, running up his gas bill - he would shout at me, "If your cold - put some bloody clothes on", said raging father....
His sagely advice made more sense than ever, when I had to pay my own bills.
And this freezing cold retard is how old and is she dressed like that - because she is fishing for attention on her Only Failures account, or just stupid?

When you're off-grid and heating by wood, you often have a practically unlimited supply of wood, and you even need to open-burn massive piles every year to keep up with clearing the waste wood, to reduce the risk of forest fire. Every October, in my off-grid area, everyone has MASSIVE fires as soon as it starts to rain. Usually they're "category 3", for which you need to buy a license (this usually means one or more piles, with each exceeding two metres (6.5 feet) in height or three metres (9.8 feet) in width). I've very frequently seen burn piles two storeys tall down the road from me, and last year I burned three massive piles about 1 storey tall, by maybe 30 feet long and 20 feet wide, each.
If you're in the city or you buy your wood, then it's different, and it can even be expensive. With what's going on in the world right now, it's a GOOD idea to get as self-sufficient as possible. Off-grid is awesome, and get yourself a good setup that will last for as long as possible, like a high-end Duravent S2100 chimney and their double-walled stovepipe. It's really awesome to have a wood cookstove, too. Some of them are retardedly expensive, but J.A. Roby has an awesome one (Cuisineire HH) for a pretty good price at Home Hardware, if you're in Canada, though the prices have been going up.
This is a pretty good video. It's too bad she took the OF route.
