Parkland Officer Scot Peterson <br>https://bit.ly/2CHLudt <br> <br>A jury has reached a verdict in the case against Parkland school resource officer Scot Peterson. <br> <br>The jury found him not guilty on all counts related to the tragic events that occurred at the school on February 14, 2018. <br> <br>Surveillance video released on March 15 allegedly shows Peterson standing outside Parkland school building 12 instead of entering to confront the gunman. <br> <br>Peterson's attorney, Michael Piper, argued that there was no legal obligation for Peterson to enter the building and stop the attack. <br> <br>Piper emphasized that, from a legal standpoint, there was no duty to do so.
