Patton's Proposed Invasion of the Soviet Union

I knew a direct descendant of Patton and he said that the family knew he had been assasinated - because (short version) there were too many factual abberations in the facts and the story..... Making this up to illustrate a point.... "He was driving at 110 mph in his jeep and he slid out in a corner and crashed into a tree and died" - great story...... except jeeps don't go over 55 Mph. That kind of failures to fact check the official cover story vs. what the family knew about it and the cover up.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: Yep. Some Jew reporter cobbed that story together and he knew the odds were high that the average reader wouldn't know any better. Those old Willys Jeeps were General Purpose utility vehicles. Small, nimble, 4-wheel drive, rugged, and cheap. 55 mph sounds right. Furthermore, General Patton would always have a driver at his disposal.

So I used a metaphore to convey the issue of the discrepancies between what the family said, and what they knew had happened, AND what the official cover story was.
