Political turmoil continues in Pakistan

Members of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party blocked a vote of no confidence and dissolved Parliament, bringing his premiership into jeopardy. Protesters have been taking to the streets supporting Khan, who has blamed ‘foreign powers’, and particularly the U.S., for trying to intervene in his country’s domestic affairs and force his departure.
