@James1225: @James1225: Do you want to know what "the Halo" actually is? You can read itself in the Homeric epic poems the Iliad and the Odyssey. These heroes were godly men or angels / servants if God as "demi-gods" and whatever such-- they were majestic and physically taller. So when the common shortee looked up at them, the "Halo" was the Sun itself behind them. Godly men the heroes had these "halos" at moments of recognition and realization because the commoners, the sheeple had to look up to see them. After reading the literature and watching the artistic trend... It's amazing how the Halo became a ringed halo.

You also see this "halo" trend in early Church art with Jesus (Yoshus Kristos) and His Apostles with golden circles about their heads-- the Sun as disciples znd students looked up at them. Take a look for yourself.
