Protesters burn Quran outside Iraqi embassy in Denmark

Two protesters staged a Quran burning in front of the Iraqi embassy in the Danish capital on Monday. Those involved were part of a group called ‘Danish Patriots,’ who have staged similar demonstrations before. The protesters were filmed stamping on the Quran before setting it alight next to an Iraqi flag on the ground. <br> <br>It’s feared that this latest protest could spark further unrest in Iraq, where Muslims outraged at a similar protest in Sweden last week stormed the Swedish embassy, setting the building on fire.
