Thousands of people took to the streets of Buenos Aires to protest, calling for more assistance for welfare programs and soup kitchens amid rising prices and poverty across the country. <br> <br>The government claims cuts are needed to welfare payments and other subsidies, following a deal with the IMF to reduce the deficit.
