What? More stupid shelling? No magnificent offensive or demonstration of complex logistics? Are Russian recruiting offices swamped with highly motivated young men to fight a war to liberate their ethnic kinsmen in eastern Ukraine? Have you fixed the organizational psychosis that is crippling your Army and making you reliant on private mercenary forces, like Wagner Group?
President Putin, you can be sure that NATO is watching this whole debacle and they are SALIVATING over the prospect of attacking after you've exhausted your half-measures in this faux war.

You need to put your Air Force to the test. This is the time to really test everything because you don't want to give NATO any idea that you have no faith in the air power you've invested in for so long. YOU MUST PLUG UP THE WESTERN BORDER OF UKRAINE and destroy any airports that you won't be using.
Order lots of EADS (Enemy Air Defense Suppression) sorties to clear away SAM sites and other potential threats along the western border. Make a clear flight path for dozens and dozens of Tu-95 bombers to drop thousands of free fall bombs on the roads, railroads, bridges, and other irregular crossings. That would stop NATO supplies from getting in. Why the Tu-95's? They are old but, iconic symbols of Russian air power. Free fall bombs are cheap and plentiful. If the Tu-95's are successful (high probability) then you can boast that you achieved a victory with old stuff. If they are NOT successful (doubtful), then the loss is not great and there is no loss of face. After the bombing, then drop thousands of mines designed to be dropped from the air into those bombed out areas to make rebuilding very difficult. If you're not going to use any Ukrainian airports in the west, then they should be bombed into rubble! That could be done with cruise missiles first and then finish with ground attack aircraft and helicopters.
With those supply corridors destroyed, Ukraine will quickly starve for outside supply and you will decisively WIN this war. And NATO will be very impressed and deterred from any plans of military mischief against Russia.
