Some thoughts:
I think the reason why some men get overly excited about some homely looking Filipino women is because they are actually feminine which is a rarity in the west. It goes a long way in the likability of a woman especially with how bad the western women are. Sam Vaknin has coined the term "the toxic unigender" to describe the western female whereas they have begun to simultaneously exhibit the worst types of traits from both masculine and feminine behavior patterns, I find this to be apt.

You are a rather high iq dude Martin and the way you perceive the world is likely different from the smooth brained zoomer mind. You also have years of wisdom on them now. You will of course find these environments intolerable because of how bizzare the behavior is there. The average IQ in the west is falling, this is becoming more and more apparent when you examine the drug addled poor diet shrunken brain average zoomer. I feel sorry for them because a lot of them are just too stupid to properly analyze the realities of the situation today.

These people are not so bright so they cannot analyze and see the sex ratio is so bad. They actually believe the lies of these dating coaches.

I now strongly believe there are three letter agencies involved in the manosphere at this point because there are strange characters coming out of nowhere all of the sudden which nobody seems to question. They are trying to do a psych warfare op of some kind that I haven't been able to decipher the angle on yet.

Lastly, people ignore the elephant in the room, the demographic problem. There are far too many men. There are three decades of men chasing after and ever shrinking group of 20-30 year old women. This group is too small in number by far. They often say the genders are balanced in the us, this is not true, they are only balanced because of geriatric women. More males are born then females, you can look it up and this has lead to a stacking effect that has skewed the gender ratio severely in the west. I think they are lying about the true numbers. Not to mention the fact that illegal immigration in the us is skewed male significantly but the exact number is not known. If you add to it the fact of how many women are gay, obese, mentally ill, single mother, or not interested in sex, it fully explains the extreme mate guarding you see, and it fully explains the hopelessness of the situation. People just prefer to be deluded or like to make money on the lies. There are not enough available women to match with men, period, even if men accepted being with a single mother or obese women there still not enough to form a pair for everyone. Prostitution is only a solution because the woman is fulfilling the part time role for many different men providing a minor relief valve.

Bars and clubs haven't been places worth going to since the 2000s. I only came of age in time to go to then in the 2010s. They were shit. People don't go alone anymore, always in groups, and the groups had become extremely rigid. They're not there to mingle.
The legends of bars and clubs being fun are from the 2000s and several decades prior. Most importantly, phones just weren't as advanced as they are now. In the 90s, people didn't even have mobile phones. It was realistic that people would go to the bar/club expected to run into their friends. This is how women being there alone would organically happen. Now, there is a literal 0% chance of a woman being there alone.
