IF the designers were smart, it should be able to remain coupled to the truck, with a steerable barrel, and be operated from the seated position, with an 8 or 12 round magazine - with selective fire - 2, 4, 6, 8 rounds per volley, and choices in incremental steering in 1 or 2 axi, per round... in linear or combination.
