This is one of the most unusual episodes of Combat Approved. It is dedicated to the DGA - Directorate-General of Armament of the Ministry of Defense. It’s the department that plans what the Russian weapons of the future will be like for decades to come. For the first time on TV, the viewers will be able to see the design of a promising aircraft carrier, learn more about ultra-high-speed attack helicopters and Russian strike drones. In general, about everything that will be developed and built in the next few years. The film crew of Combat Approved will visit all the closed and classified research institutes of the Armed Forces, which collect information about external threats, in order to come up with an adequate response to them. For example, we will show you exclusive footage of Russian military scientists testing missiles that are only being developed at DARPA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration of the US Department of Defense. If they ever be adopted, it will not happen before 10 years from now. And our military is already working on countermeasures.

#Russianmilitarypower #Russianmilitary #military #CombatApproved #Zvezdatv #army #russianarmy #CombatApproved #Zvezdatv #DGA #weapon

https://www.tiktok.com/@zvezdanews
https://twitter.com/zvezdanews
https://www.facebook.com/tvzvezda/
https://www.instagram.com/zvezdanews/
https://t.me/zvezdanews

Not too optimistic about a new Russian aircraft carrier. Russian inherited a perfectly good carrier from Ukraine after the USSR dissolved. The Russian shipyards didn't know how to properly maintain it, the supply chains were broken, and the Admiral Kuznetsov lies dead in a shipyard.

Contrast that to the incompleted Soviet carrier, the Varyag which was sold to China shortly after the USSR dissolved. Eventually, the Chinese decided to finish it, fit it out, and make it their training carrier. Finishing and operating the Liaoning taught them many valuable lessons in how to build and operate a carrier and they did it much cheaper than trying to design and build one of their own from scratch. Now the Chinese know what to do and will build a much better carrier based on the lessons learned.

Why can't Russia do the same?

They dived to 317 meters in the Sea of Japan... and plan to go deeper.. Far out.
