Fighting this war like it's WW1 may be "cheap" but, this is only going to give ZOG-NATO confidence that it can steam roll over Russia when they're good and ready. The Russian Air Force should be projecting power and the artillery used for hardened sites that the bombers missed.
I'll repeat it again: Putin should be using his Tu-95 heavy bombers and free fall bombs to destroy all roads and railroads crossing the western border of Ukraine. If he has to, send in drones to scout the flight path and look for ground threats to the bombers. Send in Su-25's to destroy those threats and have the S-400 operators focus their attention on the areas that the big bombers will be flying in. There should be an A-50 AWACS on station during the bombing operation.
Until those ZOG-NATO supply lines are cut, Ukraine will continue to receive assistance. That means this war will drag on and Russia will exhaust itself without a decisive victory to show for it.
