Roughly 40 years ago, I read the best case for bringing back Corporal Punishment and to create the office of Public Disciplinarian. It was in an OMNI magazine, as I recall. Wish I had saved it but, I do remember the salient themes of the article.
He pointed out the rapid growth in bad behavior at large and that the usual punishments had lost their power to deter such mischief, as shown in this video. Only when the pain is felt DIRECTLY and QUICKLY by the offender, then you'll have a real deterrence. It will also provide a bracing effect for society at large. Adjacent laws on the books will enable sane members of society to ruthlessly quell destructive behavior and, not suffer punishment by the State.
I'll add that the repeal of all laws deriving from the Civil Rights Act of 1964, including the Act itself, is an excellent start.
I'd like to see a Hot Line or 911 special dispatcher to send out deputies of the Public Disciplinarian to quickly arrive at a scene like this crazy broad. This broad would be seized, dragged to a truck-mounted torture rack, and WHIPPED. No lawyer would DARE stick his nose into this based on how the new paradigm will be. People will no longer tolerate this shit.
On Chimp Outs, the Public Disciplinarian will be there to assist the Sheriff. He can do what the Sheriff can't legally do. What the PD does is perfectly legal (new legal paradigm in place) and the Sheriff is immune for unleashing the PD to restore order. . There will be no limit on measures to quell a Chimp Out. Brutal and overwhelming force will quell the disturbance and set a terrifying example to the others to not try that again.
